Account Executive

This role will be focused on hunting and prospecting into targeted accounts, responding to inbound requests and developing industry relationships to generate new business. You will play an integral role in the growth of our company.  As one of our first sellers, you will have the opportunity to help shape the role and be closely mentored professionally by our team.

Responsibilities

  • Hunting - You will be prospecting into the real estate landscape, primarily developers, owners & property managers.  This will consist of cold calling and other outbound activity to generate interest in order to schedule discover calls and product demos

  • Researching and evaluating target leads/prospects and industry media

  • Understand how Carson and our integrations help solve problems and delivers value to property management

  • Demonstrate the Carson solution, both in-person and virtually to decision makers

  • Create proposals

  • Manage pipeline and track activity in Hubspot CRM 

  • Attend conferences and trade shows to demonstrate and building awareness

  • Master use of real estate data & information platforms

  • Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly quotas for opportunities created

About You

  • 2-5 years of experience in sales, SaaS and/or real estate brokerage (real estate and/or multifamily experience a plus)

  • Passion for sales and competitive spirit

  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills with a keen eye for detail

  • Have an appreciation for real estate operations and the residential apartment building lifestyle

  • Ability to present & demonstrate product selling points via phone, email, and screenshare

  • Must be highly persistent and able to work independently

  • Collaboration is essential

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with excellent listening skills

  • Ability to develop rapport, influence others and maintain strong working relationships

  • BA/BS degree required

  • Located in the New York City Tri-State area
